As The Wealth Steward’s Chief Operating Officer, Denise oversees our client experience, the investment management process, and the day-to-day business operations of the firm.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Denise also works directly with clients to help them feel confident in their financial future as they pursue their goals. She also earned her Certification in Long Term Care to assist her clients with longevity planning. Denise especially enjoys serving independent and newly single women with their unique financial needs. She helps women successfully transition through life events such as retirement, divorce, and the death of a loved one.

Denise attended Arizona State University where she earned her Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Public Administration. She worked for ten years as a Performance Auditor for the State of Arizona. After having her second son, Denise decided to pause her professional life and stay at home full-time. During this time, she volunteered extensively at her sons’ school, building a library and substitute teaching. In 2016, she resumed her career at The Wealth Stewards. She has since earned her Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, is a registered insurance agent, and finally, earned the CFP® designation. She lives in downtown Tempe with her husband Andrew and looks forward to her adult son’s visits home. Denise has an extensive travel bucket list which she is excited to continue checking off places!
