Brent’s passion lies in deeply understanding the core values of his clients and guiding them to achieve more than they could have ever imagined.

After graduating with a B.S. in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1995, Brent went to work in New York City on the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) with a predecessor firm of Bear Wagner Specialists. During that time, he quickly rose to become vice president of trading and a member of the NYSE. After trading hours, he earned an MBA in finance and international business from New York University.

In 2006, Brent embarked on a year-long backpacking adventure across Africa, India, Australia, Southeast Asia, and North America. This journey not only broadened his perspective on life but also deepened his understanding of diverse cultures and economic systems. Settling in Arizona, he joined Raymond James in 2007, committed to building a practice focused on the financial well-being of his clients. In 2024, Brent partnered with his long-time friend Jeff Breese at The Wealth Stewards.

Residing in Phoenix with his wife Paige and their children, Nicholas and Arden, Brent is not only an accomplished professional but also an author, a certified SCUBA diver, and an instrument-rated pilot. Outside of the office, he enjoys trail running, camping, cooking, playing the guitar, and indulging in his love for history.
